Terms of service

1. The service

Manager Universe is a free platform of online sports management games. The first game is a football manager played solo against the computer. One account works for every game on the platform.

The service is under development: it may change, have bugs or be interrupted for maintenance.

2. Your account

You must be 16 or older to sign up. We do not ask for your date of birth: your declaration is enough. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under that age, we delete it.

Each account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Your username must not be offensive or impersonate anyone.

3. Acceptable use

You may not automate the game with software, attack or overload the service, access other people's accounts or exploit bugs to gain an advantage. If you find a bug, report it from the game: it helps us a lot.

4. Game content

The game world is fictional. Club and player names, crests and kits are generated automatically; clubs keep their real city and colours, and any other resemblance to reality is coincidental. Player attributes come from a public data set, anonymised and transformed (see the credits in the legal notice).

All content and code of the service belong to its owner. You may use them only to play.

5. Saved games and rules

You can keep up to two saved games at a time. Deleting a saved game cannot be undone.

The game rules may change to improve the balance. Changes apply to each saved game when its next season starts, and the game tells you about them.

6. Free service and liability

The service is free and provided as is. We make daily backups, but we do not guarantee that the service is always available or that no data is ever lost. We are liable for damages only where the law does not allow liability to be limited (intent, gross negligence or injury to life, body or health).

7. Leaving and suspension

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings; your saved games and all your data are deleted at once. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

8. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms in a relevant way, we will announce it on the website. They are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
